This Thanksgiving Day, I cant help but reflect on the world around us...how others on the same Thanksgiving Day do not even have a roof in their head or a food in the table. We as a family have a lot to be Thankful for! Our good health, our job, our friends and everything we have...it all comes from you, Oh Lord...we cant thank you enough! I know we cant solve the worlds problem but every little step we do to help or share, is a world of help to the individual, organization, convent receiving it. This Thanksgiving and every Thanksgiving, pick-up a cause and follow up with it...I am sure there is a convent, a shelter...that can use your $25 or $80 a year(2,000 to 3,000 pesos) for feeding...so that as you fill yourself up with that Turkey...you also feed someone who really is hungry.....for those in the Philippines, you can sponsor a feeding at Sister Leticias Convent who feeds the poor of Pasig twice every week (contact Ms Dolores S. Soriano). I am sure they will appreciate any amount...for those in the US...I am sure you can find a mission in your area to support...Happy Thanksgiving to all!
