This a video of me doing some bag work and sparring at the Jhoon Rhee School in Washington DC back In 1979. We would go to the boxing Gym also several days so we could get in a boxing ring for sparring. I am in the red pants and blue head gear during the sparring against The PKA U.S. Lt Hv Wt Champion George Thanos. I would usually spar around 10 rounds switching off with my other sparring partners usually Rodney Batiste the U.S. PKA Middle Weight Champion and Michael Coles the US PKA Lt Wt Champion. Our workouts were rather long back then doing as many as 30 rounds total of shadow sparring, bag work, sparring and jump rope and other fun conditioning exercises!
