This absolutely leaves me speechless!! Commissioner O, you sir have just raised the bar on ignorance to a unreachable level... Wow! Just wow! Obviously you are clueless as to the CCS Students that are medicated at school every day .. by prescription medications, the numerous diabetic, asthmatic, and allergies that are monitored, NOT TO MENTION First Aid type care that may need to be rendered. Ice packs, band-aids, sprained ankles..... AND THE DOCUMENTATION!!! and the calls to parents.... School Nurses never stop! Gee, maybe you didnt know. So, we will pardon YOUR IGNORANCE.... BECAUSE YOU HAVE NOW BEEN SCHOOLED! P.S. I am sure our county paramedics will thank you in advance.... They are operating ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT UNITS!!, not giving Joe his ADD Rx @ 9am, fixing an ice bag for Sallys headache @ 11am, calling Coles mom after taking his temperature to say he needs to be picked up, and coming back at 2pm to clean up Kenzies skinned knee and bandage it!! And that doesnt scratch the surface of what all a school nurse really does in a day. Hats off to the great job our school nurses do every day❤️.
