This afternoon Brookings Troopers responded to a single semi-tractor trailer rollover crash northeast of Howard, SD. The semi-tractor trailer was northbound on 427th Avenue when the vehicle entered the east ditch and rolled onto its roof. The trailer was loaded with steel used to build grain bins. The driver was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was wearing his seat belt. South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating. Miner County Sheriffs Department, Howard Fire Department, and Miner County Ambulance assisted.
