This afternoon I finished my 10th John Grisham novel, The Rainmaker!!! Really liked the build up of the plot and characters. A young 3rd year law student, Rudy Baylor, is taken to a senior citizen rec center by his college Law Professor with the others in his class. They are asked to help the seniors with legal problems and then discuss them with the prof. Well Rudy uncovers a huge Insurance company scam. The story twist and turns from here. He passes his bar, loses his job at several law firms and ends up taking the case to Federal Court himself. I loved the story but thought the ending, in my opinion, was weird. Guess I like endings that leave good positive feelings. I felt left down here. I have found Grisham does this allot.
