This afternoon I was pleased to make my second trip to the Wat Thai Buddharam this term with Anthony Shorten MP, Member for Algester. TheTemple Abbott, Venerable Chonlatish showed me the plans for the expanded Temple and the progress they have made in fundraising since I was last here. I was also pleased to announce that due to Anthonys persistence in lobbying, the Temple will receive $7000 for the Songkran Festival on 19 April from Cultural Diversity Queensland.
