This afternoon Jonah picked up Allen (he was a homeless man in Bastrop but now has a place) and spent sometime with him and brought him back to our house to shower and to hang out for a bit. We use to do this every other week with Alan when we had our other house. We havent been able to have Alan over in a year because of our living situation. It was great having him. I actually miss some of his quirky twisted stories. He told me he missed coming over, so much so, that he didnt want to leave because he would be lonely going back to his trailer, and sometimes he would get depressed because of being lonely. That broke my heart but it was also confirmation from Christ, that were to take care of people like Alan. Obviously were smart about it, but we also know God will protect us. Im going to bed with a heavy heart but also a happy one. 💜💚💛
