This afternoon in our Literary Criticism class, I enjoyed - TopicsExpress

This afternoon in our Literary Criticism class, I enjoyed listening to the stories of my students. I smiled at their HAPPY moments, heard my heartbeat in their accounts about LOVE, got inspired of their sense of HARD WORK, felt sad of their SORROWS and burst into tears of their LOSS. I LEARNED from them. Each of their stories is worth-sharing, worth-learning. Neva Grace described the best mom in the song “Always You.” “Only Reminds Me of You” made Baby Elaine miss the happy moments she had with her grandma. Rowena echoed her determination to “Reach for the Sky.” Neliza had a flashback of her wonderful love story with the song “Hero.” Winnie Ann made the best symbolism for “The Climb.” Mary Angelica turned very emotional with the song “Keep Holding On” as the lines reminded her of her best fan, her grandmom. The same song hit the eyes of April Joy. Shiena Mae owned her moment with the song “Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough.” Lovely portrayed her great measure of courage, faith and strength in bearing with a life away from her family in the song “Journey.” Erickson wished for a minute to last forever and set the time back to childhood and “Dance With His Father.” Charmaine expressed how blessed she is as the youngest princess in the family and as and shared her sweetest resolve to “Grow Old With YOU” referring to her dad and mom. “Today my Life Begins” fires burning zeal and flaming hard work to Rjay as he keeps on trying all the ways to support his studies. Marvelyn flooded her eyes with tears while relating memories she had with the best man of her life, wishing she could “Dance with her Father” again. Joyleen was sincerely apologetic that despite her shortcomings, she is still, at home, treated “Like a Rose.” Marilou’s account of dealing life in an “On my Own” basis, stirred a burning inspiration to the class.
