This aint no Jay Cutler apologist status for this is real NFL Life: For the exception of Tom Brady, Joe Flacco got the same amount of rings as the QBs you consider elite, Eli got more than them. The last Elite QB to win a Super Bowl was Aaron Rodgers whos Total Defense rank was 28th overall (according to NFL) and he only got 1 (The same amount as Trent Dilfer). The 2012 Baltimore Ravens with a mistake prone QB defensive ranking was 16th. My point being that UNLESS you have a Elite Quarterback you have to rely on team play on BOTH sides of the ball to win in the NFL. Bears spent money on defense with Willie Young (Top 5 in sacks) Lamar Houston and Jared Allen (both were top 10 available defensive free agents) so Jay aint get ALL of the money (2 out of the 3 defensive players aint working out). Plus the draft was defensive focus (top 3 picks where in areas of need).So with that being said we have a underperforming offensive combined with a terrible defensive. A Quarterback whos underachieving with a coach who is also. A Defensive coach who by all counts is bad. Im ready to say it if yall aint: This entire TEAM is bad. NOT just Jay but this TEAM.
