This an open letter to all CHC members who are still remaining in the church, Dear Friends, If you are reading this letter, then you are amongst one of many who have defied church instructions not to come here and listen to poisonous tirades. I for one was disturbed by the revelations of the trial and then coming here to find out the debt situation that the church is facing. I am highly disappointed that the church leadership tried to massage the figures of the Church Building Fund and present it in a way that the investments of the CBF were being properly managed, when in actual fact, the debt situation of the church is very real. I would like to thank people like Mr Patrick Liew, for his REVELATIONS in presenting the figures in a factual and unbiased way. This is a wake up call for all of us! Can you imagine that the Church is in such a situation because of the Crossover mission which spent $23 Million and was returned steathily....what more would have happened if the original target of SGD$200 Million was spent on the project? I do not believe one moment that Pastor Sun would generate sales in excess of $200 Million and generated income for the church. Even the top US artistes dont make that much. I shudder to think that our Church leaders would spend church monies which such total disregard and saddle each church member with mountains of debt....if really the original plan was pulled through. I am not taking part in anymore Church Building Funds nor any fund-raising activities until most of the questions posed by the good people here are answered or make a conscious decision to leave some day.
