This article is brilliant ! While the world is undergoing conflict, many people are beginning to wonder what their part is to play in all of this. Many years ago, while deep in prayer, The Lord spoke to my heart about a powerful and united church that is emerging which would have the power to transform Nations.. He said that it would unfortunately take persecution in order for the church to unite & stand together instead of fighting each other (petty doctrinal differences).. much like children in a family, (they might squabble amongst each other but if an outside bully attacks one of them, they immediately stand together as a family). The Lord showed me that this underlying force that is conspiring together and slowly rising up across the Nations is Islam! Much in the same way as the Americans were caught unaware of the plot of the Japanese to bomb Pearl Harbour... (The Americans were unprepared & because of their military strength became passive) we need to be aware of what is going on right now, and awaken to our callings and destiny as believers. I believe that as a church we have a window period to stand together united as brothers and sisters and to exercise everything in our power to see as few casualties as possible by first of all bridging the gaps between ourselves as a Church & by standing together as One (John 17), a picture of the Church Christ died for. A Church that would stand united as a family through an understanding of their Union with Christ, (not divided by doctrinal opinions) - a Church that would be a mighty force in the Nations that would help each other to impact the world in whatever way it can. The main assistance one can give is to pray: first of all for our own country (who are not exempt from this underlying threat), for those believers being persecuted around the world as well as for those who are on the front lines impacting these persecuted countries with the gospel. More importantly as a Church : is to stop weakening & dividing the church by differences in doctrine as the Pharisees were accused by Jesus of doing .... you search the scriptures, but your hearts are hard! The battle has already been won at the Cross 2000 years ago.. Let us the Bride shake ourselves from the dust and rise up Glorious, Victorious & demonstrate that Victory by appropriating Gods promises and truth together as One Voice across the Nations !
