This article...is just wow, I dont really have words for it. People always talk about the suicide and depression rates among military members, but very rarely about how service affects a spouse or family. I can tell you from experience that sometimes the loneliness can make you feel like you are choking, or drowning. We live far away from family and childhood friends, and are left alone for long periods of time, yet very rarely does anyone ask if we are ok? After reading this article, its obvious that that needs to change.
