This article may seem slightly out of sink with thoughts on Theology and Critical Race theory but as I connect the dots I am reminded that rising food prices are a consequence of global warming as more and more droughts impact our food supply. That said, droughts can create spaces of critical survival techniques as certain corporations, to make the greatest profit, pick and choose where to distribute ever increasing drought limited nutritional food products. As in all things capital good nutrition follows the money and as global warming increases and droughts become more and more this situation will be the case. Food canyons, around the globe, emerge a result of this circumstance and as such those folks in the less privileged global health/food zones receive less nutrition necessarily leading to mindsets that are actually debilitating to their humanity. What I mean here is that the weaker the nutritional intake the weaker the mind, its just that simple. Those who have the weaker nutritional intake become the economically enslaved. Global Warming more than anything else will radically define those who live in privilege and those who do not. I think strategies to combat the aforementioned must involve some radical re-imagining of human existence.
