Most people are up to debt to their eyeballs, not to nention for most people that mileage barely covers getting to work in a year never mind activities, family trips or just visiting family out of town. Not to also mention for those who are single family incomes, most live paycheck to paycheck. Just a stupid grab at more money. How about taxing senators, higher govt officials and have diplomats, govt staff on the hill pay for taxes when shopping instead!
