This big guy is our boy, Bubba. My husband adopted him as a pup 10 years ago. When I entered the picture (with 2 small dogs of my own), Bubba welcomed us all...even my nosy chihuahua, Lola, who constantly invades his space! (see pic) :) Monday night I was absent from the news desk -- instead nervously sitting in the vets office waiting for an update we didnt want to hear. Bubba was diagnosed with lymphoma, an incurable blood cancer, and we have just a small window of time left with him. Devastated, yes...but also incredibly grateful for the years of companionship, loyalty and love hes given us. Bubs is resting comfortably at home now, being spoiled rotten (nothing new there!)..and we know he will let us know when its time to go. Just wanted to share some pics & some memories with my Facebook family. If any of you have pics or similiar stories, please post them to my page. And give your kids (furry and otherwise) an extra hug tonight. They love you as much as you love them.
