This blew me away! A little while ago a lady somewhere in her thirties approached me. No introductions or what so ever and started to question me about my piercings and tattoo’s. Does it hurt, why would you have X or Y etc. Somewhere halfway through my explanation she interrupts me and blatantly says, and I quote; ‘You will be doomed to be jobless forever and not get a respectable ….’. Now before she finishes her sentence I get upset and interrupt her with: ‘I am a swimming instructor during the weekends and on Tuesdays. I work with highly gifted children in bilingual education on Fridays and during standard weekdays I am a biology teacher’. She did not utter a single word during my rant. Afterwards I asked her what she does for a living and before she slinked away I got a; ‘I am in between jobs right now.’ If karmic justice is real I might just have proved it’s existence! My only burning wish is that I would have pointed to her and let loose a hearty HAHA! Self-righteous she-dog.
