This brings tears to my eyes! I cannot believe how bad things have gotten in this country! The worst thing? The worst thing is going to be what happens now: too many of us will claim that this is a rare occurrence and that it is in no way reflective of police conduct in this country! I would like to believe that especially since I have never met policemen like the ones in this video or in Ferguson, Missouri and in so many other places... but denying its reality is a way for us to continue to tell ourselves that all is well and that this simply proves that the rotten apple will finally be found and taken out! The rot is inside of us all... and it shows up every time someone is indoctrinated enough to think that we need more guns, that only more guns can make our lives more civil... every time we are talked into another war to numb our senses some more and make us yet more tolerant of violence while not even coping with the harm we are doing to our own front lines of violence, of which the police are a vital part. I continue to insist that the violence is also being perpetrated against our our policemen and policewomen who are obviously trained incorrectly to be killers and to presume guilt instead of being civil servants ready to rectify wrongs and assist the population in all their needs!
