This came to us from Pat F. Please put the word out. I70 from Maple Hill Kansas west to at least Junction City Ks turns to black ice. West bound lanes are stopped due to an accident at mm 333. West bound is backed up to aprox the 24/7 stop at Maple Hill. Officials from the Missouri Highway Patrol are asking drivers to stay off the roads if possible. Troopers are responding to quite a few reports of slide-offs all over Southwest Missouri because of ice on the roads.
