This came to us today in an e-mail from our friend, Shannon. She got this information from Cedar Creek Cavaliers. Can we help these folks make a difference? Your Help is Needed Over 100 Hundred Cavaliers being Auctioned You have been blessed to have Cavaliers in your life that have been raised with care, attention to health issues, temperament and socialization. You realize the benefit of these values and the difference it makes. It has come to our attention that this Saturday there will be an auction of over 100 Cavaliers by a puppy Miller. Puppy Mills do such damage to the Cavalier breed. They are raised in cages, bred at a young age with no regard to health or social interaction. It is simply about the dollar the dog can bring to them. Ethical Breeders and Cavalier lovers are coming together to try to rescue as many as possible and prevent them from falling into the hands of other puppy mill owners. We realize that purchasing the dogs will not stop puppy mills but with this many we hope it will make a dent. Rescue would provide medical, and emotional support to dogs who desperately need help and a loving home. I have never made a request or sent out an email of this sort before but because of the urgent need, I wanted you to be aware. If you can go without a dinner out this week, or a latte, and donate any amount to help these dogs it would be so appreciated. I have taken money from my own puppy sales and donated to this cause as I believe in making a difference that will count in the lives of those dogs less fortunate. I will attach two links.
