This cartoon depicts South Korea’s politicized prosecutors, who have been subordinate to the administration in dealing with the scandal over the National Intelligence Service’s interference in last December’s presidential election. In the cartoon, former chief investigator Yun Seok-yul’s lifeless body is dragged along the ground while one prosecutor invites all the others to “come home” to being subordinate to the government. Yun was appointed to lead the investigation into the NIS scandal, but was removed from his post for pursuing the investigation too thoroughly. (by Jang Bong-koon)
