This concept is foreign to Buddhism but however some Buddhist schools have mantras except they do not work like vedic ones. Buddhist mantras are not codes of a secret origin but are short clips of knowledge as an educational tool. What I find is interesting is that if the codes described here were pronounced incorrectly they would not correct the problem. Language changes and especially if the script is still in common use. Sound> word>reality but if the sound is wrong hence the wrong reality. This whole theory is caught up in atman, a omnipresence of a something that is eternal. The whole is always changing nothing stays the same and this is true about vocal sounds from one generation to another in humanity.
