This could have been me. Except I had black Ernie Douglas from My Three Sons glasses and buck teeth. I was tortured, teased and bullied from Grade School through High School, although somehow I found strength in High School to turn some of it around. I was not alone either. However, there are those from school that still to this day are unkind, even at the age of 50! I beg Teachers to intervene and for Parents to pay attention to how their kids are acting. Its likely kids are the bully, or the victim, in some sense. Time does heal! In college, it was like a new life. My personality really came out and it was if the past never happened. Thankfully, I had some good role models, mentors and friends that got me through the tough times! Unfortunately, thats not true for everyone! Lets save and protect our kids!
