This country has been out of debt only one time since it was created. So why exactly does it matter? It doesn’t seem to matter to anyone but those wanting to remain in fear of it or use it as a scare tactic. If you were to take a look at who owns the debt you would see most of our debt is owed to the American people...us. So the American people would have to collect on the debt but the American people are the ones paying for it . If the foreign and private interests who own the rest of the debt try to collect they would have a difficult time standing up to the U.S. to get their money. So…who cares? It’s a completely pointless argument that the Republicans use to stick it to Obama because he was re-elected. So why are you guys such sore losers? Give it up already. You lost. Now you guys are altering voting rights laws to restrict American citizens from voting. When you guys realize the uterus is not your property then you will have taken a step in the right direction. We all know the Republican party only represents corporate interests ( right behind the Democrats) and religious nuts. This is why they lost the last election. It’s okay to lose. It’s not the end of the world. Just quit crying about it and take it like men.
