This country is run by morons. Republicans, who want to get rid of ObamaCare, refuse to pass a resolution to fund much of the government without a provision to delay individual mandate to enroll in Obama Care. This tactic will do nothing to get rid of the law. In fact, The delay seems like a gift for supporters of the law who could use the time to work out a lot of glitches and to change the opinions of the public, who by and large, do not like the law. Though not the intent of Republicans, this provision could save the program from becoming the disaster it seems fated to be. The Democrats, including our President, would rather allow a partial shutdown of the government, which they say will hurt the American people in a big way, and may do severe harm to our economy, in order to prevent a DELAY in implementing the individual mandate. No fuss from the Dems was heard, however, when business was given a one year reprieve from providing insurance. Naturally, neither the Congress or the President has to participate in Obama Care, and, while 800,000 government employees will not go to work until this is resolved, and will not get paid (until a continuing resolution is passed, where they will be paid for work they were not allowed to do, enduring a lot of stress not knowing how they will pay their bills on time), the President and Congress, will, naturally, get their pay. They are deemed to be essential! The majority of these politicians are shocked that, we the people, do not trust our government. Come next election, however, most of the incumbents in Congress will probably be re-elected - UNLESS, We, The People, wise up!
