This day 10 years ago was a day that I dont remember much of, but what I remember the most is how I felt when I was finally able to go over to the NICU and hold her hand and look into her big blue eyes. It was then that I realized God must have big plans for her life and mine, because He could have so easily chosen to take both of us home that day. You see, Ansley was born a preemie and I suffered a complete placental abruption before being rushed down the hallway for an emergency c-section, but by the grace of God and the steady hands of an amazing doctor....both of our lives were saved that day. I will eternally be grateful for Dr. Fields, and will always give thanks to God for the miracle of my sweet Ansley Carolyne born on July the 7th! 10 years old, or 100---she will ALWAYS be Mommys baby!
