This day in history is one of the most vivid in my life! I had just separated from the army 5 months prior, only to rush back down to Fort Lewis ready for War! The disbelief and shock of an attack on our soil left me angry! I was trained for this, trained to defend our Nation against ALL enemies, foreign or domestic..... This day in 2001 we came together and finally STOOD UNITED against a foreign enemy that attacked our normal citizens. Today, 13 years later, we are faced with a much different threat.... The fight seems to be coming home again! With the threat of all these terrorist groups, a clueless administration that has turned much of our population into dependants, the ongoing struggle to disarm everyone, and the double minded president at the helm(a double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways), we are turning into a vulnerable land mass rather than a strong Nation United! So on this day, honor not only the fallen from 9/11/01, but take a moment to reflect on what it took to get us here... The sacrifice, blood of patriots, service as a whole, armament of the citizens, and a merciful God! If you open your eyes truly, you will see that things have DRASTICALLY changed internally here for the worse since that day!!!!! I pledge ALLEGIANCE, to The Flag, of The United States of America! And to the Republic for which IT STANDS, ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL! Remembering the cost of freedom is never enough..... HONOR IT THROUGH ACTION! Send care packages, join the service, thank a Veteran, DO rather than SAY! God bless America!
