This dont just happen in South Africa: Major airports across Germany face major disruption tomorrow, Thursday 27th March, due to strike action. Germanys main union Ver.di announced that Frankurt, Munich, Cologne-Bonn, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover and Stuttgart airports would be hit by the industrial action. Airport workers are involved in a dispute over pay, with negotiations not due to resume before next week. The action at Frankfurt, Germanys largest airport, is set to last from 3.30am until 2.30pm, involving staff in ground and freight handling, as well as maintenance, administration and security. The airport warned passengers that they should expect major disruptions and flight cancellations”
