This effect so many people not just families who will have to go without a holiday due either to financial constraint of ability to get time off work during the school holidays. Also to business big and small that are going to either go under, either due to finance or not being able to get staff due to not being able to allow school holidays off. This is if course unless they also impose a law that business shut down like parliament over the summer.
