This entire post deals with the outcry over a flight attendant who didnt hang up a soldiers coat. Id love to know if it bears any resemblance to our incident from CLT-PIT on flight 2090 today. We were completely full today and the bins were full. A man,his wife and a2 children had boarded the plane win all their bags and a garment bag. The A told him he needed to lay it out on top of other bags. When they got to their seats he tried to lay it flat on the floor and up around the seat pocket. I told him again that it should be in the bin. How then put it back on the floor which blocked the aisle. I said I would find a place to lay it out in the bin. His wife then said youre refusing to hang up a. Military uniform? I told her I couldnt see through the garment bag and I would be more than happy to hang up the uniform. The A said she had asked him to lay it out as garment bags were not allowed on the hooks. I thought--ok-- perfect, well take jacket out of the bag as just slid over the clothes--was not the kind with a zipper. LO AND BEHOLD it contained a mens sport coat and a dress for a little girl. And so the bullshit begins..............
