This evening, I had the opportunity to have dinner with Dr. Billy Elder, pastor of Silica Springs Baptist Church, and was greatly thrilled at hearing how the Lord has been working greatly in his life and in the church family, since he became their full time pastor in December. He became their pastor after serving in law enforcement for nearly twenty years and resigning as a South Carolina State Patrol officer to serve as a pastor. The church has already been seeing tremendous growth, both numerically and Spiritually, which to me is a clear testimony to the call of God upon his life and the call of God upon him as the pastor of Silica Springs Baptist Church. I can not begin to say how thrilled that I am to be in their Revival jubilee and be preaching in their services tomorrow. I believe already that this is going to be a church that will continue to be greatly used of the Lord under the leadership of their pastor.
