This evening I took a bike ride through the area, and at a spot - TopicsExpress

This evening I took a bike ride through the area, and at a spot not more than a quarter mile from my house I stopped and took in the view. The magnificent Wasatch Range stood before me bathed in the gorgeous golden light of the late evening. Beginning to my right I could see the peaks above Spanish Fork, then sweeping left (to the north) I could see Mount Timpanogas above Provo. Continuing on I saw all the great peaks just to the east and northeast of where we live. Then turning north I could clearly see the peaks above Ogden and on towards Logan. Way off to the north I could see the tiny silhouette of a peak on the Idaho border. In one grand view I had 120+ miles of the Wasatch Range in sight! That is the equivalent of a view sweeping from Madison to Green Bay, all in crystal clear air. Amazing! Tomorrow we are driving through the western end of the Uinta Mountains and enjoying the grandeur of 12,000 peaks and numerous lakes and forest.
