This evening as we are all snowed in with our family/love ones, my thoughts wander and my heart is sad for a friend. Earlier today a good woman lost her husband....her best friend. This man was also a good friend of Robs. Robert Shepard. Now I dont claim to have always seen eye to eye with Dave. I wont jump on that band wagon now that he is gone. In fact, Dave and I have had a heated spat or two. Even though we banged heads from time to time, I can not deny that he sure was a funny bastard....one of the funniest!!! We had some good times around the fire Kay McDowell. Cherished memories indeed! Dave is sincerely lucky to have had you as his companion. The way you cared for him until the very end is admireable.
