This footage shows the moment Israeli forces beat a Palestinian-American teenager unconscious after he had already been subdued. The boy is 15 year-old Tarik Khdeir from Tampa, Florida. He was on summer vacation with his family. This was only his third time visiting Palestine and his parents say he is a sweet, smart kid who loved to go fishing. On Thursday at 7:30p his parents say Tarik was walking home from a relatives house near the site of clashes with Israeli soldiers near Shufat and he covered his face because he couldnt breathe from the tear gas that was being lobbed by Israeli forces on to stone throwing kids. He was detained along with several other Palestinians during an Israeli ambush, some were also beaten. The Israeli police say this video is edited and biased. The Palestinians refused arrest and attacked Israeli forces with knives, Molotov cocktails and pipe bombs that almost caused a loss of life. 15 soldiers have been injured in these clashes
