This giant seashell house in Mexico City was built and designed by Arquitectura Organicas Javier Senosiain. The home built features a smooth front facade met with a giant wall of colored mosaics, lighting up the living space in a stunning rainbow effect. Arquitectura Organica said the goal of the project was to make the inhabitants feel like they were living inside a snail. Or in the words of the architect, to make the homes dwellers feel like a mollusc moving from one chamber to another, like a symbiotic dweller of a huge fossil maternal cloister. Whether you think it looks like a giant snail or a seashell, these pictures show the construction is certainly something special.
