This goes with the news story posted below about the Xena, the dog rescued for an autistic boy. This is info from their Facebook page, Xena the Warrior Puppy. Its truly an inspirational story. Jonny is an autistic child who was very withdrawn and wouldnt interact with anyone until Xena came into his life. Now he speaks at events and socializes with people. Xena profoundly changed his life. She is a Staffordshire Terrier mix, which is one of the group of dogs known as a Pit Bull. She was extraordinarily emaciated, unresponsive and was covered with severe skin infections when she was found. Now she is a best friend to an autistic boy and changed his life.
