This government had already decided long ago to resort to the IMF for a bailout. It didnt just wake up a few days ago from an economic nightmare and decided to run to the IMF. It was a decision made before the Royal Senchi charade. Indeed, the NPP in deciding to boycott the National Economic Forum stated as one of its reasons, the fact that government had already submitted its proposals to the IMF, so the forum was just a waste of time, taxes and an attempt to deceive the public into thinking that the government is now listening and ready for consensus building. Many people felt disappointed about the NPPs boycott, but today, the party has been vindicated. If the NPP had participated in the forum, the government and its town-criers would have been all over the place roping the NPP into the failure of the forum to save the situation. This is how the NDC government works. It takes glory for other peoples achievements and ropes in others to share in their failure. Beware of the Government and this Political Party! You trust them at your own peril!!!
