This group is devoted to sharing pictures not opinions but as people we do have our own values, ideas and opinions which pictures or things we see often bring out. It is a real test of self discipline to see something that sparks our desire to express an opinion or judgement yet remain silent allowing the picture to speak for itself. For some of us this is an almost impossible discipline to follow. Knowing this to be true we allow a certain amount of commentary to accompany the pictures. We draw the line at abusive or vulgar comments. Argumentative comments are also deleted. This is censorship to put it bluntly. It will continue as long as I am an administrator of this group. There are many other groups which allow arguments and debates as well as all other manner of speech to take place. If that is what you want to spend your time doing then perhaps those groups are where you should spend your time.This group should be thought of as a photo album preserving what has been seen not what has been thought.
