This group was genuinly unique. Andy Powell and Ted Turner,two lead guitarists in a band? Nah! (Rossington and Collins in Lynyrd Skynyrd) Two lead guitars swopping Riffs? Nah! (Lynyrd Skynyrd).. Two lead guitars sharing the same guitar break? Nah! (Freebird Lynyrd Skynyrd), Two guitars interweaving in harmony with each other in the same break? Oh yes! The break at the end, is in my top five of the greatest guitar solos ever. It has never been duplicated or beaten. Not noise or effects pedals, just sheer melodic playing. :-) They lost much of it, live on stage though. youtu.be/xAJod84PPf8
