This guy I had to shoe away from me at the till as he went from standing 2 meters away to right up close trying to watch my pin code as I was about to pay for my snack at 711 when we were filling up on hot chocolate and coffee part way through the night! We are out in that area exactly because its a bad area and God wants to reach the people who are hurting, broken, lost, and hungry and just plainly want Forgiveness and to know who God is or hear of hope! So many people just trying to get by while drinking themselves into a lonely hole or whatever else anyone gets involved in! I was no different before I came to know Christ, and today because of Him, I am a bright shining new creation...with some cracks etc still but with a hope and a God that loves beyond comprehension and its even more overwhelming to see and enjoy life along side the people He has already touched on this team and those He wants to touch out in the street! It wasnt long before our new friend found us on the bus singing praises and strumming away on our guitar when he plopped down right Infront of us! After some chatting he heard the full gospel and the flood gates opened, his hurt and agony and hate poured out over all the horrible inhumane things he experienced in his life and he was so open about it all as we all listened! Things got pretty heated for a while but it was so evident that God was moving in his heart because he went from a one man army with a hard shell and hate and confusion to softness, accepting prayer on the street corner and proclaiming to being filled with peace and joy with the biggest smile on his face which he allowed me to capture! Ha! We serve a God who has endless names of praise, worth and majesty, He is our healer, our deliverer, our Lord, Our King, our provider, our peace, love, joy, Alpha, Omega, Father, Son, Holy Spirity,...there is none like Him! To Him goes all the glory and the Honor and the praise forever! We believe we will be seeing our friend soon again! Would you please keep him in your prayers? His name is Paul Whitebear!
