This has been a hard week, my precious cousin, Joy Collins passed away leaving my Aunt Mag, Crystal and her son Dakota. My church family lost our precious Shirley Sheets, and this morning my wonderful friend and neighbor Johnny Beck passed away, Heaven is brighter, but these loses surely have dimmed my world, The Anchor Holds sorta became my go to song when my mom was in the last days of her earthly life, and it is still as relevant to me now as it was then. I love you FB friends and family and I want to share some of these words that are such a comfort to me, knowing that my Anchor, Christ will indeed hold. I have journeyed, through the long dark night out on the open sea, by faith alone sight unknown, and yet His eyes were watching me... and the anchor holds though the ship is battered, the anchor holds though the sails are torn, I have fallen on my knees as I faced the raging seas, and the anchor holds in spite of the storm...
