This has been a hectic weekend. Friday at 10am we had our final walk-through on the house we purchased, had the closing on the house we sold at 11 am, went directly to the second title company to sign the papers on the house we purchased. Friday evening about 4 pm a group of men and teen boys arrived to finish packing the U-Haul, pickup truck and our car and drove to Denton to unload the vehicles. Had to take the U-Haul back to Flower Mound after it was emptied and drive back to Denton for the night. Saturday we made 2 more trips with the remaining items that did not fit in vehicles on Friday. Spent Sunday at church in the morning, shopping for needed items for the new house in the afternoon and choir and church in the evening. Emptied a few boxes and went to bed. Today we spent the first part of the day visiting offices where we needed to give changes of addresses and came home to unpack more boxes. Steve has not yet found all of his tools so we need to go to Home Depot and pick up what he needs to complete some set-up projects. By the time we eat supper and get the tools he needs, I think it will be bedtime again. One of these days it will all be finished and we will just be able to enjoy the new house. Will miss the old neighborhood, but look forward to meeting our new neighbors.
