This has been an exhausting long four days, so glad for the time I spent with my friends this weekend, Lilli Glasgow, Sara Ashard and Kristine Castillo, thank you for making my weekend amazing, laughing and laughing some more...pillow fights, swinging on the signs as we walk though Lake Oswego, taking goofy pictures and putting up with chasing me through the streets of Portland, really.....its only a couple more blocks...lol My fortune cookie has been a great inspiration to keep my head up, good things will happen when the time is right, Im feeling really good about the last few days, as many of you know I am trying to move to Portland, I had a job interview Saturday via phone, it felt really good and then I had an interview today with another company, it even felt better, that being said I dont have the job yet, I am hopeful one of the two will call me with good news. Leaving Lincoln County after 48 years will be bittersweet, I have so many amazing friends and my family of course here, as much as i want to move on with my life my emotions are up and down but Ive never been happier, Newport is a beautiful place and I have called it home my whole life but its time for me to go, Portland is an amazing City and I am so anxious to call it home. May we all stay friends and keep in touch even if its by way of Facebook, email, text, smoke signals, pony express or telepathy, Ill only a phone call away......If.......WHEN I get a job. I may be thinking ahead but thats what I do and I dont want to wait to the last minute, it doesnt hurt to look, so if anyone has a contact about an affordable place either in the Portland, Lake Oswego or Oregon City area dont hesitate to let me know.
