This has been an unprecedented week for us as one of our own, Jahmel Binoin, was thrust into the international spotlight after being mocked on social media by three celebrities. We are proud of Jahmel and his positive reaction to enduring such cyberbullying and of our families who rallied to share words of encouragement for him. But Mr. ONeal did the right thing to apologize and he righted his wrong. Forgiveness does not mean condoning the bad behavior. But it is a step towards healing our community.
