This has been the worst fishing year that I can ever remember. Lot of very high temps and winds that have caused white caps on the lakes. End result, not many days on the lake with the bass boat. However, I finished the fishing year with a very good day on a small trout stream south of Morgan Utah. Caught a number of really nice brown trout including a couple over 16 inches. DeAnn added some as well. It was a great fall day with warm temps and a little color still on the trees. Returned home and put away all the gear. Now I can hope for a better year in 2014. It is now time to batten down the hatches for winter. Winter here can be good if one is a skier, for the rest of us not so much. Well maybe I can just spend more time at the gym. On a more positive note, during my last visit with the Cardiologist,given all my test results he reduced a number of meds and eliminated some others. Would appear that the Patriarch knew what he was saying 60 years ago when He indicated three times that my days would be long upon the earth.
