This has just happened to me. My 4S iphone lost its wireless function after an update. This is both shocking and by the response by the Apple store staff not an uncommon occurrence. How do you feel about an provider who shuts down your phone function - and than makes you pay? And the $200 phone they offer is actually a cannibalized phone made from discard Apple bits and pieces with only a 90 day warranty. Perhaps Apple is getting too big and too corporate. Anyway- updating has now become risky- and EXPENSIVE. Please share with others. Cheers Meredith Joanna French
