This has to be one of the most epic post about dog training ever written. Every single one of my philosophies are here and written beautifully...a lot of these are things I feel but couldnt put into words well enough. Thank you Naughty Dogge for putting what floats around in my head but couldnt verbalize well into words that can be understood. I keep having these discussions with training friends...about feeling the dog or feeling what is going on between you and your dog during training. Training by intuition and feel is vanishing...and its being replaced by Dog Training by Flow Chart. You cannot train a dog well and be unable to feel what is going on, when to ask more or less, feel what your dog needs and doesnt need. Im the kind of trainer where I need to feel what is happening when training my dogs...and I trust what I feel is going on. If more people training dogs were able to let go of their flow charts and recipes, become quiet and feel/listen to what their dog is telling them while they are working...connections to dogs would become so much deeper and relationships would be stronger. Wow...I am just blown away by the sheer awesomeness of this post. o.O
