This hospital in San Francisco is making me crazy. We are being charged $3600 for a level 3 treatment... Fiona had nursemaids elbow, which we were told was very common in toddlers and not severe. We were admitted at 1:48pm and were discharged at 2:34pm... Basically 45 minutes total in the hospital, and only about 10 minutes or less were in the presence of a physician. The rest of the time we were there was administrative/paperwork. No tests, no x-rays, no specialists. He internally rotated her elbow and popped it back into place and we left. Does anyone have experience in dealing with ER hospital bills? Does this sound right? Feels like I am being scammed by a carnie
