This house make-over work did a real number on our sprinkler system. 1. Had to have 12 sprinkler heads capped off. 2. Had to have 3 controllers moved so they wouldnt be under the garage. 3. pipe got broken by the guys forming in for the back step. Had to get that fixed. 4. In the process of moving the controllers the wiring got changed around because all the controller wires were the same color. 5. Turned the system on Saturday (3/29) to once again identify what controller # turned on what sprinkler section. 6. Big geyser right where the new gas line was laid. Plumber fixed Monday. 7. Verifying the fix I noticed a cut wire to unknown controller. 8. Today, we dug around until we found the other end of cut wire, spliced it with new wire, taped it and put a heat shrink on it. 9. Turned on each sprinkler controller at the control panel and identified each new controller #. 10. Shoot fire ... now we had to manually turn on each sprinkler controller (located all over the yard) to mark which set of sprinklers it turned on. Finally, finally everything is identified and working .. just need a new laminated sheet for my control panel. Just a mind boggling thing! :-)
