This illustrates a pet peeve of mine: Modern-day ad agencies and designers do not adequately evaluate their work before foisting it on the poor, unsuspecting public. I actually think that the computer lets them work too quickly and the resulting design isnt critiqued enough. For the love of Hermann Zapf *, print it out and show it to co-workers and the client and anyone else the client trusts to give them an honest opinion. Mock one up and use it (Would have saved the Drug pencil.) *Hermann Zapf - Famous type designer. He created Palatino, Optima, and many other typefaces that have changed the way we view our world.
