This is Ben, he is a Black German Shepherd, rescued him from Merced Shelter, where he sat for 5 weeks in a cage. Ben was a bit of a wild child when I got him from spending his whole life in a back yard, I have worked with him in all types of situations, he has surprised me how quickly he has come around. Ben has been the Home Depot, Restaurants, Beach, River, Dog Parks everyday, have had zero issues with him. Ben is 75lbs will top out at about 85lbs, he is about a year & a half old. He has a good attitude, can be a bit aloof with some people, that is not unusual for Shepherds. We want Ben to go to a loving home, where he will be part of the family, not an outside dog, he needs to get out everyday for exercise & to stimulate his mind. German Shepherds are great Dogs & very smart,. Ben will benefit form some professional Trainer, not Petco, someone who knows Shepherds would be great. so if you dont exercise them, they will entertain themselves:-) Located in Santa Rosa
